Project Overview

Tik Event is a full-stack digital platform built for the event-ticketing sector in Saudi Arabia. Designed from the ground up to serve as the digital infrastructure for the Kingdom's growing events market, it connects event organizers with buyers through a seamless, secure experience.

Challenges

The Saudi market lacked a trusted local ticketing platform aligned with its needs, and there was no safe, reliable way for individuals to resell tickets. Traditional seat maps didn't give buyers a clear sense of where their seat actually was, and the available payment options fell short of the expectations of Saudi digital users.

Solutions

We designed a localized UX that respects Arabic's right-to-left direction and Saudi user behavior, and built an integrated secondary marketplace that lets individuals resell tickets with full safety guarantees. An interactive seat map enables precise seat selection, and the platform introduced the region's first installment-payment system for event tickets.

Technologies

Tik Event is built with Next.js for a fast, SEO-optimized frontend and Laravel for a robust, secure backend that handles transactions and bookings — a fully integrated full-stack build, with UI/UX crafted specifically for the Saudi market.

Results

Tik Event became the first Saudi ticketing platform to launch installment payments for events, with an active secondary market that reshaped ticket-selling standards in the region. Its interactive seat-selection experience helped lift purchase-completion rates, delivering an effective, live platform that serves the entire Saudi market.
